Mission

In high-pressure industrial environments, maintenance technicians need immediate access to reliable information. A device error that once required manual document searches or support calls can now be handled in seconds with the Operations App.

Technicians scan the serial number and instantly receive technical data, manuals, troubleshooting hints, and spare-part recommendations. That reduces downtime and keeps production running.

Challenge: optimization for a new era

Mobile hardware and connected IT systems evolved rapidly, and user expectations for fast mobile access increased accordingly. Endress+Hauser recognized that its previous app no longer met these expectations.

Solution: an app built for the future

Together with MWAY DIGITAL, Endress+Hauser rebuilt the app from the ground up using Flutter. The new solution improved UI performance and integrated a powerful data interface for easy access to the complete product portfolio.

The app was designed for intuitive use in real field conditions. Technicians and engineers can access maintenance plans, spare parts, and documentation in just a few taps, in multiple languages for global teams.

Benefits: more than just an app

The modernization significantly improved day-to-day maintenance work. Tasks that previously required multiple calls and manual coordination can now be completed directly in the app. By scanning the data matrix code on a device nameplate, users get relevant data immediately and can send it to procurement in one click.

The app also supports targeted analysis and improved maintenance planning. Easy access to device history and operating data helps reduce costly downtime.

Results

The new Operations App became a strong success for Endress+Hauser and MWAY DIGITAL. It combines technical modernization with practical usability and continues to attract both existing and new users.
