Mission

Reliable identification of workpieces in automated production processes using RFID technology. Transponders store individual information and are read and written contactlessly. This makes it possible to control production workflows in a targeted way and optimize them efficiently.

Challenge

Production can be disrupted when workpieces are not clearly identified or when RFID transponders contain faulty data. Assigning and correcting this data is often complex, difficult to track, and requires specialized expertise. This leads to process delays, increased manual effort, and a higher risk of errors in ongoing operations.

Solution

For Bizerba, MWAY DIGITAL developed a browser-based editor application that enables visual configuration of production systems and realistic cockpit visualization. Based on modular CAD elements, systems can be assembled via drag and drop, adjusted, and transferred directly into target systems.

In addition to seamless integration into existing systems, especially via SAP connectivity, a key focus was placed on intuitive usability and a high-performance, scalable architecture. This makes both commissioning of new systems and maintenance of existing systems significantly more efficient.
